Agricultural BioGas Cogeneration CHP

Warner Levy EnviroEnergy performed detailed engineering study (DES) as per saveONenergy renewable energy approval (REA) for a 1200 kW CHP system using BioGas at a large Greenhouse Facility. The DES involved a Bi-fuel /Biogas/Natural Gas internal combustion engine (ICE), BioGas/Natural Gas/Microturbine and Steam Turbine. WLEE simulated biogas production from a gasifier and resulted in a design obtaining over 90% efficiency.
The client is a large scale Post Agriculture Recycler to the Greenhouse industry in Ruthven, Ontario and produces biomass.
