Town of Parry Sound Water Pollution Control Plant

Warner Levy EnviroEnergy provided full engineering design and construction support services for the rehabilitation of the Parry Sound Water Pollution Control Plant, which included the following:

  • Construction of new influent works building, including masonry superstructure with cast-in-place reinforced concrete roof slab, foundation and floor and rock excavation. Supply and installation of equipment including automatic bar screen complete with washer/compactor (pre-selected), manual bar screen, vortex grit removal system complete with positive displacement blowers (pre-selected), grit classifier (pre-selected), chemical metering pumps and FRP alum storage tank. Supply and installation of all mechanical and electrical equipment including instrumentation equipment, motor control centre and all related process piping, site work, heating and ventilating, plumbing and electrical work.
  • Construction of a new biosolids storage facility including cast-in-place concrete superstructure and storage tanks and rock excavation. Supply and installation of equipment including submersible mixers, sludge transfer and supernatant pumps, aeration blowers and aeration diffuser system. Supply and installation of all mechanical and electrical equipment including instrumentation equipment and motor control centre and all related process piping, site work, heating and ventilating, plumbing and electrical work.
  • Modifications to existing influent works including removal of all existing process equipment, installation of roll-up garage door, superstructure exterior renovations and all necessary mechanical and electrical modifications.
  • Construction of miscellaneous flow control structures, yard piping, extension of main influent force mains, maintenance of sewage flows, yard electrical, rock excavation and site works including new entrance road, site grading and site restoration.
  • Construction of a new electrical substation building including masonry superstructure with reinforced concrete foundation and floor, roof trusses and rock excavation. Supply and installation of all mechanical and electrical equipment including instrumentation equipment, motor controls centre, switchgear and all related site work, heating and ventilating and electrical work.
